There are many children who struggle to learn to read, write, do math problems, and focus. Often these struggles are related to underdeveloped cognitive processes. Educational therapy is not a quick fix, but works at the root of the problem, changing the way a learner perceives information, makes connections, expresses themselves, and thinks. Research has demonstrated the reality of brain plasticity, and people are able to improve their cognitive efficiency with educational therapy.
When you donate money to the Educational Therapy Foundation, you are helping a family that otherwise would not be able to get their child the help they need. All families contribute to the cost of helping their child/children, but some families need help some assistance. When you donate, you don't just change a student's academic potential, you change the way they perceive themselves and their potential to reach their life goals.
